About: Introduction
Dr. Rehan Tariq Chohan is an academic and researcher at The National University of Malaysia – Qatar (UKM-Qatar), serving within the Faculty of Modern & Technological Sciences. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Taxila, with an academic background spanning computer science, computing technologies, and intelligent systems.
With more than a decade of experience in higher education, Dr. Rehan has taught and contributed to a range of computing disciplines. His areas of expertise and research interest include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Internet of Things (IoT), wireless and sensor networks, distributed computing, and network optimization.
His recent research reflects a strong focus on emerging AI and data-driven technologies, including Graph Attention Networks, recommendation systems, Natural Language Processing, IoT optimization, and machine learning applications. His work has appeared in international peer-reviewed publications including Scientific Reportsand PLOS ONE. At UKM-Qatar, Dr. Rehan contributes his academic, research, and technical expertise to advancing computing education and applied research, with an emphasis on connecting emerging technologies with practical, real-world applications.
