The Doctor of Philosophy of Islamic Studies in Faculty of Islamic Studies UKM offers five (5) specializations namely: Shariah, Usuluddin and Philosophy, Arabic Studies and Islamic Civilization, Da’wah and Leadership Studies, and Quran and Sunnah Studies. The specializations are five (5) core areas that form the basis of contemporary Islamic issues. All programmes offered have been recognized by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). LMCM1083 Communicative Malay Language for International Students (compulsory for all international postgraduate students).
English Proficiency
Obtained IELTS (4), or TOEFL (550) (This requirement is waived for applicants who completed their previous studies in English; submit an "English Medium Structure" certificate).
