Master of Islamic Studies in Faculty of Islamic Studies UKM offers five (5) specializations namely: Shariah, Usuluddin and Philosophy, Arabic Studies and Islamic Civilization, Da’wah and Leadership Studies, and Quran and Sunnah Studies. The specializations are five (5) core areas that form the basis of contemporary Islamic issues. All programmes offered have been recognized by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). Integrates traditional Islamic scholarship with modern academic research

Students may write their thesis in Arabic (subject to the approval of the faculty and supervisor(s).
