Foundation Programmes
The UKM-Qatar Foundation Programme provides a qualifying pathway for students who need additional preparation in Mathematics and/or English before entering the Freshman Year of their bachelor’s degree. Depending on their academic results, students complete one or two Foundation subjects and must achieve a minimum score of 70% to progress to Freshman Year. Each Foundation semester lasts four months, providing students with focused academic preparation for successful university study.

Program Entry Requirements
Shahadat Al-Thanawaya Al-Aama
- Overall result: 50% to 69%
- Minimum five (5) subjects, including:
- English (minimum 70%)
- Mathematics (minimum 50%)
- Any other three (3) subjects
Applicants must meet ONE of the following:
- Minimum IELTS score of 5.5, OR
- 50% to 69% in English in Shahadat Al-Thanawaya Al-Aama (students are required to enroll in the UKM Qatar English course and obtain an IELTS score of 5.5 before completion of studies)
Advanced Level (A-Level)
Applicants must meet ONE of the following:
- For three (3) subjects: minimum Grade C for every subject including Mathematics
- For four (4) subjects and above: minimum Grade C in three (3) subjects, and a minimum Grade D in Mathematics
For Advanced Level (A-Level): Minimum Grade C in three (3) subjects including Mathematics
Additional Requirement
- Pass the interview set by the faculty (if applicable)
